  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced L&D Nurse for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have two years' experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP and AZ license or compact license.
  • Must have experience with C-sections and must have computer charting experience, preferably Cerner.

    • Active AZ license or compact license.
    • Must have experience with C-sections.
    • Computer charting experience, preferably Cerner.
      • Schedule Information
      • Nights 1900-0700.
      • 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Labor and Delivery
        • 18 LDRPs, 14 bed OB triage, 8 bed Antepartum.
        • Average deliveries: 8-10/day; 322-344/month; 3863/year.
        • 2 fully equipped ORs for C-sections.
        • EMR: Cerner.
        • EFM System: Fetal Link
        • Ratios: Aiming for AWHONN standards but assignments are safe.
        • Nurse to patient ratios are mostly 2:1 depending on acuity, Antepartum can be 4:1, c-sections 1:1.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting an offer with 2 max attempts.
          • They must pass with a score of 80% and if they fail, they will be DNU for 6 months.
          • Travelers will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
